The group runs as a drop-in support group whereby carers can come and leave as they wish and have a choice whether to attend during morning or afternoon making it more flexible to fit in with other caring or family commitments; the group provide opportunity for carers to socialise, support each other and learn more about topics of their interest and choice. Part of the meeting is to have fun (dancing, art, painting) or simply to relax. The venue at the Multicultural Community Care Services (MCCS) provides carers with an opportunity to attend computer classes, gentle yoga classes at Fairfield and Bonnyrigg (weekly sessions).
